Hello! Hope you enjoy the next three episodes, they're (mostly) more interesting than this one.
I guess I understand non-canon potential but I do not understand why it is a thing that is happening on the show Yeah, this. I'm not even ashamed to admit I've read stunning Caroline/Klaus fic from stunning writers in this fandom. And it's been ten times more compelling than this nonsense.
re: Elena/Stefan - I will say that the show is a lot more upfront with how fucked up they are in the next few episodes. So, I've kind of gotten over the seething contempt I had while writing this post. Still not totally sure where the story is going, but I'm currently a bit more comfortable with the handling of the ship. Hope that eases your worries a bit.
