Especially a shame and a waste because Connor became really interesting to me this episode re: his longing for "all this to mean something". And then it didn't. :| WHY WOULD I BOTHER WRITING DOWN THOUGHTS WHEN I CAN COUNT ON YOU TO SAY EVERYTHING BETTER? No but seriously, I'm so sad. Connor was my new favorite and I was so in love with him /creys. The only reason I'm ~okay with this plot development is because ELENA GOT TO KILL SOMEBODY COLD BLOODEDLY AND SHE WAS FREAKING BADASS AND THEIR WHOLE SCENE TOGETHER WAS KIND OF EPIC BOTH OF THEM OWN MY HEART IN IT. But still whyyyyy did it have to be him to die :(((( I'm so not into Shane tbh and hence very frustrated that he gets to live after being so obnoxious to my Connor and ughh I do not dig that hynpotizing Bonnie thingy (except if she ends up killing him, then maybe I'll change my mind) WHY COULDN'T HE BE THE ONE TO DIE?! UGHHH.
I mean - WHAT A CHORE to have to watch someone be clinically depressed and suicidal for three seasons, right. What a fucking chore. BOOTSTRAPS, am I right. Fucking bootstraps. Check yourself before I cut you. (I will cut you.) There there. (But yes, I second this with passion.)
The show was back to being self-aware and portraying Stefan in all his disgusting glory, ergo I enjoyed him immensely. WORD. I legit clapped during that scene where Stefan awkwardly tried to lie himself out of suspicion. Flawless.
On that note, I hate myself for loving that final Salvabros scene. "I'm doing it for you", UGH VOMITTTTTTT. I JUST CAN'T QUIT U FOOLS. X( Also, Stefan walking around in that singlet thing made the scene very gay porno-ish (what's new in life). HAHAHAHAHA you and me both broski
