Eh, it's more when people use it as part of a discourse where impossibly high expectations are set for female characters? Women like Martha will be dismissed because they don't happen to fulfill all the criteria for "strength" (because she has an unrequited crush on a guy therefore she's not "strong" enough to be considered a Strong Female Character).
