THE SHIP THAT COMBINES THE ALREADY-OFF-THE-CHARTS AWESOMENESS OF TWO OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS
I AM DOING THE DANCE OF JOY RIGHT NOW
I love the way you hit the major events in their relationship over the years, and that Hermione's pulled in because Ron isn't what she expected. <3
What really truly does shock, is the sight of him stumbling through the door, wand nervously raised, just a step behind his famously more heroic friend (whom she might have expected).
UGH, yes, Ron and his courage are so underrated. WEASLEY IS MY KING, OKAY. HATERS TO THE LEFT.
it just wouldn’t be logical, and rationality in these matters (of love, friendship and bravery) is what’s really necessary to hold on to.
LOL Hermione. I love her so much, and you write her very well.
The idea of them actually dancing together is preposterous, anyway. They’d fit all wrong, their timing would be completely off, and he would doubtless step on her toes a dozen times because this is who they are, after all.
And should they ever be in the position of being face-to-face, actually touching and connecting, her eyes would (misguidedly) find his, only for him to look away.
Or the other way around. They have always taken turns to make the wrong move.
UNF. I think you just summed up their relationship in a heartbreakingly brilliant way.
she knows that any attempt at showing him she cares will either be ignored or spat on, because that’s the easy way out in these matters, and she’s beginning to see the appeal.
So sad and true. :(
I love the way you used the parallelism of them saying each other's names. I am exceedingly pleased that you wrote this, and I enjoyed it immensely. xD
