I really like this! Been a long while since I've read Spuffy, and longer since it was good. You capture Buffy's possibly-slowly-lifting depression well, and the tension and humor in her relationship with Spike. Dawn had some blessedly whine-less moments I enjoyed as well. Most of all I liked the details and inner monologues that fleshed out an ordinary night and made it special and worth reading about.
