"Why are you always around when I'm miserable?"

So there has been recent discussion circulating about the nature of Spike/Buffy in canon, the fannish desire for happy endings, and the quality of Buffy's feelings for Spike in general. I thought I'd babble on a bit about how I view things, because I've noticed that I tend to deviate from many shippers with... shipping.
