I was very invested in the fact that Elena buried his body though; Damon's not doing her dirty work anymore. Ooooooh yes. And she resents that so much! He told her to kill the guy and she did.
OMG SAME about Salvabros. As terrible as Damon enabling Stefan's controlling douchery is, I can't even pretend to not have beamed when he basically declared his love to Stefan. SMH, self.
